Dear Students, Families, and Community Members,

It is with great excitement and pride that I welcome you to the 2025–26 school year at North Bend High School. As the new principal, I feel truly honored to join this community and to partner with you in the important work of preparing our students for success in high school and beyond.

This year marks an exciting time for our district as we begin the implementation of our newly adopted Strategic Plan. This plan provides a clear vision and shared direction for how we will support every student, and it is rooted in our commitment to equity, engagement, and excellence. Central to this vision is our Portrait of a North Bend Graduate developed with participation from families across our district,  which identifies the skills and qualities that all of our students will develop during their journey with us:

• Effective Communicator and Collaborator – able to express ideas clearly, listen actively, and work well with others.
   
• Analytical & Creative Thinker – capable of solving problems with curiosity, innovation, and thoughtful reasoning.
   
• Life and Career Navigator – prepared to set goals, explore opportunities, and develop the academic skills necessary to confidently plan for their future.
   
• Empathetic and Responsible Community Member – demonstrating care, respect, and responsibility in strengthening our community.
   
• Confident and Adaptive Learner – embracing challenges, adapting to change, and continually growing in knowledge and skills.
   

These elements represent not only the aspirations we have for our graduates, but a roadmap for how we will nurture and empower each student in North Bend.

At the heart of everything we do is our district promise: Every North Bend student is known, valued, and supported on their path to high school graduation and future success. This is more than a statement—it is a commitment we make together as educators, families, and community members to ensure that each student is seen, heard, and prepared for the opportunities ahead.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated and exceptional staff at North Bend High School—professionals who are committed to the success of every student. They bring passion, expertise, and care to their work each day, and they stand ready to guide, challenge, and support our students as they reach for their highest potential.

As we embark on this new school year, I invite you to join me in celebrating the incredible potential of our students. Together, with the strength of our staff, families, and community, we will continue to build on a culture of excellence, care, and Bulldog pride.

It’s a great day to be a Bulldog, and I cannot wait to see the amazing things our students will accomplish this year in the classroom, on fields of play, and throughout our community.
