Dear North Bend High School Students, Families, and Community Members,

On behalf of the staff and faculty at North Bend High School, welcome to the 2026-27 school year at North Bend High School!  We are excited to welcome you back to our campus for another year marked by academic excellence and Bulldog Pride in all e do. 

Our central goal at NBHS is to guide students towards the Portrait of a North Bend Graduate which was generated with participation from families across our district,  and which identifies the skills and qualities that all of our students will develop during their journey with us:

• Effective Communicator and Collaborator – able to express ideas clearly, listen actively, and work well with others.
   
• Analytical & Creative Thinker – capable of solving problems with curiosity, innovation, and thoughtful reasoning.
   
• Life and Career Navigator – prepared to set goals, explore opportunities, and develop the academic skills necessary to confidently plan for their future.
   
• Empathetic and Responsible Community Member – demonstrating care, respect, and responsibility in strengthening our community.
   
• Confident and Adaptive Learner – embracing challenges, adapting to change, and continually growing in knowledge and skills.
   

We are privileged to have Gary Prince as a new member of our administration at NBHS. Mr. Prince has assumed the position of Assistant Principal where he will build upon his exceptional 18 year career at NBHS. His wealth of knowledge about our students, community, and tradition of excellence at NBHS make him an invaluable addition to our team. 

There are a number of other new faces on our staff this year, but our commitment to the success of every student remains. Our faculty and staff members bring passion, expertise, and care to their work each day, and they stand ready to guide, challenge, and support our students as they reach for their highest potential.

As we embark on this new school year, I invite you to join me in celebrating the incredible potential of our students. Together, with the strength of our staff, families, and community, we will continue to build on a culture of excellence, care, and Bulldog Pride.
