Dear North Bend School District Families:
To maintain a safe, secure, and focused learning environment for all students, food deliveries to any North Bend School District campus are prohibited. This applies to all food items delivered by restaurants, third-party delivery services (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats), or other providers. This in no way limits a parent/guardian’s ability to directly drop off food items for their student.
Prohibited Deliveries: Delivery drivers will be informed that they are not allowed to deliver food on campus. Such deliveries will be refused, and drivers will be directed to leave the premises immediately.
Restricted Access: Students are not permitted to meet delivery drivers anywhere on school property.
Safety First: This prevents unauthorized visitors from accessing campus, ensuring the safety of all students and staff.
Healthy Options Available: North Bend School District provides free breakfast and lunch to all students, ensuring that nutritious meals are readily available during the school day.
Students are encouraged to bring their meals from home or utilize the school’s free breakfast and lunch options. Parents or guardians may drop off food directly at the school office if necessary.
This will be enforced to maintain safety and an environment conducive to learning. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to create a safe and productive atmosphere for all. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your school’s office.
